Good afternoon everyone,

Here is your update for the coming week:

-Tiger Cub Care Sign-up

One more time! Please sign up one more time for the care needed the last two weeks of school. It has been such a joy to assist families with Christian care for their children. Thank you for entrusting us with your greatest blessings!

-School Health Update

Things seem to be leveling off as we near the end of the school year. If your child is sick and you take him/her to the doctor and receive a diagnosis, please let the office know. We are hoping for a quiet last three weeks!

-Call News

Mr. Luebke continues to deliberate his Call to Kingdom Prep Lutheran High School. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. Mrs. Abby Zuberbier requested an immediate release from her Call, which was granted by Emanuel's leadership on May 3. Guided Studies/SNSP students will continue to be served by Mrs. Holly Birkey, Mrs. Charmaine Gerndt, and Mrs. Amy Berg.

-K-4 Field Day

We are still looking for a number of volunteers to assist with running stations at K-4 Field Day on Friday, May 17. If you are available, please consider signing up using the link below.

-Love for Lily Bake Sale

Emanuel's second graders are baking up a storm to help their classmate Lily V fight cancer! They're using their math skills to whip up delicious Puppy Chow, selling for just $1 a bag. Show your love for Lily at the Love for Lily Bake Sale!

  • Dates: May 15 & 16
  • Time: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
  • Location: Emanuel Lutheran School, Door 9

-Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have a few themed days planned from the kids. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate. If you are able, please also consider contributing a monetary donation to help support Teacher Appreciation gifts provided to each teacher.

  • Monday: Wear your teacher’s favorite color to school
  • Tuesday: Bring your teacher a school supply item or DIY craft/card
  • Wednesday: Make a thank you card for your teacher (you can stop by the office to pick one up to color!)
  • Thursday: Bring your teacher a sweet treat or snack to enjoy
  • Friday: Don’t forget to give your teacher a thank you card or color them a picture.

-Lost and Found

With the warmer weather, our Lost & Found table is filling up quickly! Due to the renovation, the table is moved into the office. Please stop and take a look or remind your child to look for any lost items.

As we move closer to the end of the school year, we pray for you, our families, that the potential stresses you and your children may feel be overshadowed by the peace you find in your Savior, Jesus. Have a blessed week!

In Christ,
Bill Fuerstenau, Principal
